Privacy Policy

QuickBiz Retail Co. (“QuickBiz”, “we”, “us”) operates a point-of-sale and business management application for small and medium merchants. This policy explains what personal and business data we collect when you use our app or website, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

By creating an account or using QuickBiz you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please stop using the service and delete your account.

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

• Account details — name, email, phone, password hash, business name, country.
• Business data — products, customers, sales, purchases, expenses, staff, and any file you upload (logos, receipts, CSV imports).
• Payment metadata — subscription plan, status, transaction IDs from Razorpay / Apple. We never see your full card number.
• Usage data — IP address, device type, crash logs, anonymised feature interactions.

We use your data only to:

• Provide, support and improve the QuickBiz service.
• Send transactional emails — invoices, password resets, trial reminders.
• Detect fraud, abuse and security incidents.
• Comply with Kuwaiti tax, consumer protection, and AML regulations.

We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to train third-party AI models.

Data is shared only with the vendors strictly required to run QuickBiz:

• AWS — hosting of servers and database (Frankfurt region).
• Razorpay — subscription billing for web and Android customers.
• Apple — In-App Purchase for iOS customers.
• SendGrid — transactional email delivery.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications for staff alerts.

Data is stored in an encrypted MariaDB instance on AWS EC2 (Frankfurt). We apply TLS in transit, password hashing at rest, principle-of-least-privilege access controls, and nightly encrypted backups. Breaches, if any, will be disclosed within 72 hours of confirmed discovery.

You can at any time:

• Request a copy of your data (CSV export from the app).
• Correct inaccurate personal details in Settings.
• Delete your account — your data is purged within 30 days.
• Withdraw marketing consent (we only send transactional email by default).

We use first-party cookies and browser localStorage only to keep you signed in and remember UI preferences (language, theme, recent filters). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

QuickBiz is a business tool intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy as the service evolves or regulations change. Material changes will be announced in-app and by email at least 14 days before taking effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
